The Coming Together Conference is a partnership between the Family Support Network of Southeastern NC and the New Hanover County School System. Every year it brings together agencies and organizations from all over North Carolina and the US to share and educate our school teachers, administrators, and professionals that work with special needs children.

It is also focused on providing parents and caregivers of these exceptional children information about support groups, agencies, methodologies, and up to date news in the area of special needs.

Each year the conference provides a forum for workshops, seminars and experts to discuss the latest information and issues concerning special needs education.

This year's conference is February 15, 2010. It will be held at Alderman Elementary School on Independence Drive.
The agenda will be posted here soon.

Workshops this year will focus on:

  • -- ADHD
